It is not uncommon to have your first visit with our nurses for dressings and/or suture removal. If required, we will arrange for Dr Thomas to come in during this appointment to review the area. Otherwise, the nurses will help us to co-ordinate a follow-up appointment with Dr Thomas when required.
A typical schedule for someone having hand surgery would be to visit the practice 7-10 days post-op for dressings and hand therapy.
